Christmas Eve Run!

What a wonderful way to begin Christmas...doing what I love to do...RUN! Had a great run this morning with some GREAT friends! It really hit me as I was running down the road watching the beautiful sunrise how amazing it is that God created all of that beauty. I have so many things to be thankful for...including the blessing that God gave me legs with which to run with!

I ran 8 miles in 1:28:56 at an average pace of 11:06!

Now ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus with my precious family! Merry Christmas!!!

  2. Wow...I feel so lucky to have found you blog. I have spent the last 3 hours reading it from start to finish. I feel so motivated by you and you running success. I have really let my physical appearance slip over the past 9 years. I have 3 beautiful daughters but do not feel comfortable in my own skin. It's like this isn't my body. I lack the confidence that I used have. One of the things I loved before starting my family was exercise and running. I completed a handful of 5Ks 11 or 12 years ago and my first (of many) goals is to complete one again. It will be a tough road as I am out of shape and overweight but I feel confident that it is possible. Thank you so much for the motivation you have provided me in your blog. In addition to becoming a runner (again), I'd love a Garmin watch and am thinking about documenting my story in a running blog!! Thank you. I'll be looking forward to your next blog post.
