6 Miles and a Happy Father's Day!

Stats-
6 miles/1:03:07
Average pace- 10:31

Today was our first training run for the Sole2Soul Sisters and we had 22 ladies show up to run!!! We ran 6 miles and they all did awesome!!! The run was great for me too! The weather was around 70 degrees and there was a nice cool breeze on us for most of the run!  I'm not sure where the humidity is right now but I don't miss it!  I've missed training for a race though...ready to get back into it! It's great to have a goal!

Me and Paige...we are leading the training together for this group!

Gina, Angela, and me...we ran most of the 6 miles together this morning!

And here is some of us running down the road!  It's so much fun running with this many people!  Thanks to Katrina (who was getting her run in a little earlier than us and ran into us) for taking this picture!

Before my run this morning I ate a pancake with some peanut butter on it.  It was delicious and just what I needed to fuel my run.

After my run I came home and the boys and I gave Andy his Father's Day goodies!  They had painted wooden picture frames for him and put their pictures in them.  I thought they turned out cute!

We also gave him one of Hayden's pictures he drew at school of when they went on a camping trip together.  The school had framed this picture and it was hanging in the hallway!  Andy mentioned to me that he wanted that picture framed for himself...so that's what I did!  Andy NEVER gives me ideas of what he wants...he never wants anything...so I made sure to remember this!

The boys also made him cards at summer school and I got him a card and an iTunes gift card.  We wrapped everything up really nice.

The boys wanted to give everything to him together.  Teamwork...I love it!!!  The best part for me was seeing him hug his boys...so sweet!!!

We had a fabulous family fun day today!  Andy (of course) got to pick what we did and he made some awesome choices!  We traveled an hour to Pensacola for our fun!  We ate at one of my favorite places for lunch, went to the Naval Air Museum, then to the Pensacola Lighthouse, and finished the day up with dinner at The Hangout in Gulf Shores!  I took 91 pictures today so I will have to weed through those before I show them all to you!

I hope everyone had as much fun on Father's Day as I did today!!!  I didn't get to see my Dad today unfortunately but I had a wonderful phone call with him...and he of course had me laughing so hard I was almost crying!  I love that about my Dad!!!

QOTD:  What's one awesome thing about your Dad or about your husband as a Dad?  Leave me your answer in the comments below!  I would love to hear from you!!!
