Fitness Friday...June 13th Edition!

We are having so much fun in California! One of the highlights so far was trying to see the Golden Gate Bridge. It was completely fogged over on one side and we couldn't see it at all! I was so disappointed! But then we got to the other side and we could see a little of it! Karl the Fog (the name of the famous fog that covers the bridge) was still there but allowed us to see a little bit of it. What I could see was gorgeous!!! I'm hoping I will be able to see the entire bridge before I leave but supposedly when it's warmer inland then the bridge gets the fog. So summertime (June Gloom) is when the fog is there. So I don't know if I'll get to see the entire bridge or not.




It's time for Fitness Friday! I'm ready to tell you all about the running I've been doing here in California! The streak is still going strong! :-)


  • Friday- 1 mile run
  • Saturday- 5 mile run in 49:33 average pace 9:52
  • Sunday- #plankaday 1:15, 2.25 mile run in 20:37 average pace 9:09

  • Monday- 1.26 mile run in 11:20 average pace 8:59
  • Tuesday- 3.11 mile run in 29:26 average pace 9:28
  • Wednesday- 1.25 mile run in 11:10 average pace 8:56
  • Thursday- 1.25 mile run in 11:18 average pace 9:03


Weight loss: I won't be weighing the weeks I am in California. To be accurate I need to use my own scale and I didn't pack it lol! I will weigh the first day I return home! :-) I've been doing really well with my diet here. So hopefully I will have at least maintained my weight!

I am so happy that I have kept up with my run streak while I'm here in California! The weather has been perfect for running! Most mornings the temperatures have been in the 50's when I'm running! LOVE it!!!
