This week my hubby saw one of his former bosses at a meeting. This boss used to give us fresh food from out of his garden all the time! Well he just happened to have some fresh okra on hand and gave it to Andy! We had enough to cook for two meals this week! It was soooo yummy!
This week we also saw a rainbow in the clouds while we were at the bus stop! It was so pretty! But the weird thing is that 10 minutes later all this fog moved in and stayed there for about an hour! So weird!
This week I also got to have a coffee date with my sister Christy! This has been a weekly thing for us for about 3 weeks now! I'm really enjoying spending one on one time with her! And the coffee is delicious!
Speaking of my sister, this weekend is my niece Ella's 1st birthday party! I can't believe she is already a year old!!! My sister Amy and her family are coming into town for the party. I'm excited to spend the weekend with all my sisters!

Weight loss this week: 0.9 lbs.
Weight loss total: 33.8 lbs.
Running was great this week! I was on a runner's high from my PR all week! My legs were sore on Monday and a little on Tuesday but they were back to normal by Wednesday.
The weight loss was good this week. I have one more pound to go to win my DietBet! Then I will have met my weight loss goal!!! :-)
Training now shifts to my next race....the Gulf Coast Half Marathon on October 19th. The training plan calls for 6 miles this weekend which will be great recovery for me from Talladega. Then next week it amps back up with an 11 mile run! :-)
I hope everyone has a great weekend! Get out there and be active!
