The Weekly Chase #97!

It's Monday again! It seems like Monday always comes way too soon. Anyone else feel this way?

We had a great weekend! Friday afternoon I went to the park with my sister and niece. Ella wants to walk so bad! So we decided to take her push toy to the park and she had an absolute blast pushing it and walking like a big girl! I've never seen her grin so big! It was the cutest thing ever!!!

Later that night was movie night with my boys and hubby. We watched the old school "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie because it was just added to Netflix. I knew my boys would like it and I was right! Here's Hayden and Cullen chilling on the couch watching the movie!

And me and Sawyer being goofy as usual lol!

Saturday morning I slept in since I couldn't run a long run (dumb calf strain). But I must have needed to sleep because I slept until 8:30!!! I don't remember the last time I've slept that late! Then we headed to my sister's house for football and family time! My poor Auburn Tigers couldn't pull a win against Texas A & M. But I still love them anyway! War Eagle!

We also took Ella back to the park! But this time...all her cousins joined her! She had another blast! And all the boys did too!

The park is right by the bay. I just LOVE where I live!

After the park we ALWAYS visit our favorite coffee shop! And I just couldn't resist this picture while we waited for our drinks!

Sunday we went to church. Hayden walked up front and made his profession of faith public in front of the church. He got teary eyed and emotional when everyone came and shook his hand and congratulated him. My sweet boy! I'm still so proud of him and his decision! After church I went shopping for some warm clothes. It's supposed to get even colder this week and I only had 4 long sleeved shirts that would fit me. Luckily I found some great sales! And my sister cleaned out her closet some and gave me some stuff too! That's another great thing about my weight loss. Now me and my sister can share some of our clothes! :-)

Later that afternoon I went back to the coffee shop with my sister and Ella! I just LOVE having my sister live here in my town!

Now it's time for the Weekly Chase! It's a new week and I have new goals to achieve! I hope you will link up your own goals with me too! And feel free to use the badge below in your post too! You can grab the badge HERE! :-)

Road Runner Girl

Here are my goals from last week!

  • Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! The streak is still alive!
  • Goal #2: Run mostly 1 milers this week. Yes! I ran only 1 milers this week.
  • Goal #3: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yes!
  • Goal #4: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes! Even though on Saturday I ate pretty unhealthy (bbq pork, chips, cole slaw, baked beans, and chocolate chip cookies) I still stayed within my calorie range and the scale has not changed! :-)
  • Goal #5: Write my post for Alabama Women Bloggers. Yep!

Here are the goals I am chasing this week!

Goal #1: Run every day! I'm still hoping to keep my #RRGRunStreak alive! I've told you about my calf hurting the past few weeks. Well this past week I went to the doctor and was told I have a calf strain. You can read more in my Fitness Friday post. He said I could run my mile every day to keep the streak alive but no long distances until the pain is gone. So this will be another week of 1 milers....but at least I get to run some!

Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Gotta get this calf better!

Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. I need to eat healthy this week to make up for some choices I made this weekend. The scale isn't showing a change but I don't want it to either. Still need to watch it.

Goal #4: Have a fun day with the boys on Tuesday. We are out of school for Veteran's Day on Tuesday. First I'd like to say thank you so much to all the Veterans who have served our country. I'm so thankful for you. I hope to have a fun day with my boys celebrating our freedom!

Goal #5: Help Hayden get his rain gutter regatta boat finished for Cub Scouts. The Cub Scouts family camp out is this weekend. It's also the weekend they do the rain gutter regatta boat races. Hayden has his boat shaped and put together. He just needs to paint and decorate it.

That's what my week looks like! Good luck with your goals this week too! Link them up!

QOTD: What goals are you chasing this week?
