Speaking of the hubby, he bought me a happy this past weekend! He surprised me because it's not often that he spends money and buys me gifts. But he did! He bought me this wireless Bluetooth headset! I LOVE it! It makes talking on the phone so much easier! My best friend Rhonda called me the other morning while she was driving to work. I was still getting ready for work so I used the headset to talk to her. I got dressed, ate breakfast, and made my lunch all while talking to her! It was so easy to have my hands free! So my hubby gets major points for this! Thanks babe!!!
But...that's not the reason I'm super excited that today is Friday. I'm excited because as soon as I get off work...I'm headed to one of my favorite cities ever...New Orleans!!! That's right people...it's race weekend! I'm so excited about running the Rock 'n' Roll New Orleans Half Marathon on Sunday!!! It's going to be a weekend of racing and having fun with my friends! I can't wait!
The only downfall is that Sawyer has a gymnastics meet this weekend and I have to miss it. :-( Since I'm a Rock 'n' Blogger for this race I can't miss it. But Andy has promised he will video all of Sawyer's events so I won't miss seeing him in action!

- Sunday- 1.56 mile run in 13:17 average pace 8:32
- Monday- 1.56 mile run in 13:13 average pace 8:29
- Tuesday- #plankaday 1:06, 1.35 mile run in 11:40 average pace 8:38
- Wednesday- #plankaday 1:30, 1.56 mile run in 13:43 average pace 8:48
- Thursday- #plankaday 1:15, 1.56 mile run in 13:33 average pace 8:41
The runs this week were great! My legs were tired a few days after my 10 mile run but then they felt better. I'm hoping my legs feel strong and powerful for this weekend's race! No matter what I know I will have fun!
