This weekend was pretty laid back since the weather was rainy and dreary. I swear we didn't see the sun the entire two weeks we were off. I did get to go see a movie with my sister Christy on Friday. We went to see "Wild." I read the book and absolutely loved it! The movie was pretty good too!
Saturday morning I ran 8 miles with my Sole2Soul Sisters. It was hot, humid, and rainy but I had an amazing run! I'll tell you all about it on Wednesday.
On Saturday afternoon we took the boys to see "Penguins of Madagascar." It was pretty cute! I'm hoping Andy will take me on a date movie night pretty soon...I'm dying to see "Unbroken." Has anyone seen it? I read the book during my break and it was amazing!
Sunday we took the boys out to the driving range to practice hitting golf balls. Hayden got his own golf clubs for Christmas and seems to really enjoy golf! I'm excited because it's something him and Andy can do together.

Here are my goals from last week!
- Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! The streak continues!
- Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yes! I did great with this this week!
- Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes! The scale hasn't budged. But I haven't logged every calorie this week like I should have.
- Goal #4: Complete my monthly calendar for work. No. I will admit that I never even thought about this again after writing this goal. I'm on it TODAY because it's due tomorrow.
Here are the goals I'm chasing this week!
Goal #1: Run every day! I'm still striving to keep my running streak alive! This week will be tough getting back into the routine of those early morning runs. I've so enjoyed running with no schedule.
Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Gonna keep this up so hopefully I can stay injury free for all the races I have planned the next few months!
Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. I've slacked on logging ALL my food lately. I log some of it but haven't been as diligent about it. Going to change that this week.
Goal #4: Get my monthly calendar for work completed. Gotta get this done TODAY! It's due tomorrow when I return to work.
Goal #5: Cook meals this week. During the break I didn't cook very much. We had lots of leftovers from Christmas. And then we ate out a ton. I'm ready to get back into my healthy eating habits this week and that means food prep and planning!
