This week was pretty busy. On Monday we were at home all day because Sawyer was sick. He got well pretty fast thank goodness! He was even proud of himself for eating an entire apple!
I needed a little afternoon pick me up so I headed to Starbucks of course! I tried the mobile order and pay for the first time and it worked really well! I didn't wait but a few seconds for my frapp!
I took it home and sat on my back porch to finish drinking it. You know the feeling that someone or something is watching you? Well I turned my head to the right and I see something poking out of the
door frame. Do you see it?
Here...let me zoom in a little for you!
Heck yes...that's the head of a snake! And he was watching me! I of course screamed and immediately got out of my chair and went inside! The boys and I watched it from the window. We saw it come out of the door frame and slither onto the ground in front of the window. But once it got close to the window we could no longer see it so I have no clue where it went!!!! It was about a foot long and pretty tiny. My hubby said it was a harmless pine snake. Regardless, I haven't been back on my porch since!
Tuesday we spent the day in my classroom. I did a lot of organizing and decluttering. And the boys had lots of fun playing with preschool toys lol!
That night Erika and I drove to Mobile for our last professional development class. As tradition, we stopped for Starbucks on the way!
This class was called "Painting Without Brushes." It was fun because we got to paint! See my masterpiece??? Yeah...I'm so not an artist!
Wednesday we went to the teacher store with my friend Kirstin. I bought several new owl things for my classroom! And then Starbucks of course! And yes...that's Hayden giving me the bunny ears lol!
The day ended with a beautiful sunset! The clouds were moving so fast! It was awesome!
On Thursday we went to the pool with Kirstin! We wanted one more pool day before the summer ends!
And of course you need Starbucks after a pool day!
Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I had great runs this week! And I took walks after most of my runs this week and it was so nice!!!

My runs were great this week! For a few days the humidity was lower so it felt really nice! I'm on day 440 of my run streak today! I can't believe it! I am enjoying streaking so much! I can't imagine not running every day. I'm praying I can continue to do it as my mileage increases for half marathon training. I'm hoping for no injuries this season!
This weekend I am running 8 miles! Hopefully it will be a good run. The humidity is back in full force so it will be tougher than last week's long run.
I hope you all have a great weekend!
