The Weekly Chase #149!

So does anyone else ever feel like you need a weekend to recover from your weekend??? Lol! That's how I feel today! I had an amazing weekend...but I felt like I didn't get much rest at all! But that's ok...I really LOVE being busy!

Friday afternoon I headed to Starbucks of course! It was, after all, Friday Frapp Day! Starbucks was running a buy one get one free on their holiday drinks. I normally order a Coffee Light Frapp but since that doesn't count as a holiday drink I decided to go with the Chestnut Praline Frapp (I like the latte version so assumed I'd like the frappuccino version). I got the hubby an Eggnog Frapp. Well...I went later in the day so my favorite baristas (the ones that know me by name) weren't working. And....it was the BUSIEST I have ever seen that Starbucks! I waited in line for about 10 minutes...and then I waited another 10 minutes for my drinks. When they came out I thought they looked a little too white to have coffee in them. But I grabbed them and headed home. Well.......mine did NOT have coffee in it for sure. And it was way too sweet. I only ordered a grande (not my usual venti since I knew it would have more calories than my normal frapp) and I could only drink half of it. Yuck! The hubby liked the Eggnog one...but again...no coffee in it. So a very disappointing Friday Frapp Day!

That night we had a movie night with the boys. We rented The Avengers: Age of Ultron! Hayden LOVED it! I thought it was pretty good too!

Saturday morning I decided to sleep in some. I didn't need to get up early to beat the heat because it was 48 degrees outside! I enjoyed sleeping in! Then I had a great run in the cool air!

Later that morning I went shopping with some of the gift cards I got for my birthday! I found some great deals! I LOVE shopping again now that I have lost weight!

That afternoon Jenny and I headed to pick up our packets for the Battleship 12K that we were running the next day! We ran into my friends Kirstin and Jim while we were there! Fun!

Afterwards we went to Starbucks of course (and I told my favorite barista about the day before's experience and he promised to make it up to me lol)!

Then we did a little shopping. After that we headed home to pick up the family and meet again with our friends Kirstin and Jim for our pre race pizza dinner! So yummy!

Sunday morning was race day!!! I was so looking forward to running the Battleship 12K! The weather was perfect for running...it was in the high 40's when we started. I debated on whether or not to wear a long sleeve shirt under my tank top...I made the wrong choice. I got so hot! Next time I will listen to my gut...and to Jenny lol! It was such a fun race! I'll have a recap for you on Wednesday!

Sunday afternoon I met Kirstin and her mom Nancy for some shopping and some Starbucks! I was craving my coffee light frappuccino! It was so good!

Super duper fun weekend!!!

Here are the goals I'm chasing this week!

Every week goals:

Goal #1: Run every day!
Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily.
Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories.
Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week.
Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles.

Goal #6: Dye shirts for Thanksgiving Feast. This is a MUST this week! It needs to be done soon! The feast is on Friday!

Goal #7: Get everything ready for Hayden's field trip on Thursday. I'm going with Hayden on a field trip to the New Orleans Zoo on Thursday. I need to shop for our lunch items that we need. And make sure Sawyer is taken care of while we are gone.

So that's my plan this week. I'm excited because we have this week of school and then we are out all next week for Thanksgiving break!!!

Good luck achieving your goals this week!!!
