Fitness Friday...March 25th Edition!

Hey y'all! First things first. I hope you all have an amazing Easter! Remember the reason for Easter. Remember the absolutely amazing sacrifice God made for us by sending his only son to die on the cross for our sins. As a mom this sacrifice means so much more to me than it did before I had kids (even though before it still meant the world to me). I can't imagine allowing my sons to die. So while you enjoy your family this Easter season please remember the reason. Tell God thanks for loving you so much that He would do that for you.

Yesterday after school our Spring Break officially started!!! Yay! We don't have any plans other than spending time together and enjoying the break!

This week was super busy! On Monday we woke up to temperatures in the 30's! Brrrr! It was cold! Cullen did NOT want to get out of the warm bed! And neither did I!

We got a super nice surprise at work that morning though. A new coffee shop opened up in our town and my boss brought everyone coffee from there! I got a vanilla latte and it was yummy!

That evening the boys and I decided to drive to the bay for the sunset. Only it was soooo windy and cold out there that we didn't stay long. It was still gorgeous! I love living on the Gulf Coast!

Tuesday morning was Sawyer's awards ceremony at school. He made the AB Honor Roll! So proud of him!!!

That afternoon Hayden had art class. These are his latest masterpieces! He's so talented!!!

Wednesday morning was Hayden's awards ceremony at school. He made the AB Honor Roll!

And...he also received the Crown of Character award! This award is only given to one boy and one girl from each 5th grade class each quarter. It shows that he has amazing character. I am soooo proud of him!!!

After the awards ceremony Hayden went on a field trip to Alligator Alley! I didn't get to go with him because I had a full day at preschool. But a friend sent me this picture of him holding a baby alligator! He had a great time!

My day at preschool on Wednesday was super busy. We had spring pictures, cap and gown pictures, Easter bunny visit, Easter egg hunt, and our Easter party! It was busy but so much fun! I just love my little preschoolers!

Thursday was another egg hunt and Easter party at preschool! And my boss gave all the teachers this sweet little gift! I am so blessed to work where I work! I love it!

Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I had another great week of runs. It went from hot to super cold back to hot again! Crazy weather here on the Gulf Coast!

I had a great week of runs! But I'm definitely looking forward to running in the daylight all next week! Running when it's still dark outside isn't my favorite.

On Saturday I am running the Crescent City Classic 10K in New Orleans!!! I LOVE this race and it has become an Easter weekend tradition! We leave today to head to New Orleans! It's going to be so much fun!

I hope you all have an amazing Easter weekend!!!

QOTD: What was you best run or workout this week?
