On Friday we spent the day at the pool with friends! All the kiddos had a blast and were so busy swimming I failed to get a picture of them! The mommies had just as much fun!
After swimming we needed a little pick me up! So I got the boys slushes from Sonic and Starbucks for me (of course)!!!
After our Friday night pizza dinner we met friends for some ice cream! Oh the fun summer days!!!
Saturday morning I woke up early to get in a long run. I was trying to beat the heat. But even running an hour earlier than normal it was still hot! I'll tell you all about my long run on Wednesday!
After my run I enjoyed my coffee on the back porch with my hubby!
I got showered and then we headed to Andy's parent's house. We had lunch there and Hayden worked on his foot locker for Boy Scout summer camp with Andy and Papa!
While the boys were working in the garage I spent time with Andy's mom and my nephew Ronan! He is just so precious!!!
Andy's parents were given a couple of bikes. They already own bikes of their own so they gave them to me and Andy!!! Andy had been wanting a bike to ride while I was running. We rode them into town to get ice cream while everyone else rode in the truck!
Later that evening at home we decided to take the bikes out for a family bike ride. We are the first house in our neighborhood so my boys don't get to ride their bikes much because the street is super busy with cars. We headed to a less busy street in the neighborhood. But one street had a steep hill and Sawyer forgot how to use his brakes. Unfortunately he fell off his bike...and landed in a palm tree. We are sooooo very thankful that he only had a few scrapes from that fall! It could have been so much more worse! But now....he doesn't want to ride his bike for awhile! I can understand that for sure.
Sunday morning I woke up for my run. It had rained overnight and there was a 100% chance of rain in the forecast for Sunday. Luckily it was only sprinkling a little during my run. Andy came and rode his bike beside me while I ran! It was so much fun!!!

- Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! The streak is still alive!
- Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yes!
- Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes!
- Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes!
- Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. Yes!
- Goal #6: Eat less calories each day. Yes! But it was more of a struggle this week because I ate ice cream 3 times!!! :-(
- Goal #7: Take at least one walk this week. Yes! I took several walks this week! I'm loving these walks so I'm going to make this goal one of my every week goals!
- Goal #8: Plan some fun activities for the boys this first week of summer. Yes! We had a super fun first week of summer vacation!!!

Goal #8: Add in some strength training this week. We all know I love to run. And I've been cross training with walks. And I hope to add in some bike rides as well. But strength training is non existent in my life except for planks. I am one of those people that needs a plan. So I'm going to search Pinterest for some at home strength workouts that I can do. So that's the plan this week. My boys are attending a Vacation Bible School with friends in the mornings this week so it should be a fun week for them!
