Fitness Friday...August 5th Edition!

Happy Friday everyone! We are just over here trying to enjoy the last few weeks of summer vacation! School starts in two weeks for us. I'm so not ready!

Most of our days this week were spent getting to know the newest member of our family...Archie! Yes we decided over the weekend that he was a perfect fit and officially adopted him on Monday!!!! The humane society wanted pictures of us as his new family and he was just being so sweet to me during those pictures!!!

The boys absolutely love him...and that includes my hubby as well! You should see Archie and Andy wrestling and playing! It's the cutest thing and my hubby looks like a little boy having so much fun!!!

So just be prepared for an overload of pictures of our sweet boy!!!

Cullen is even starting to accept Archie! ;-)

The boys and I had a few errands to run this week! But it was hard leaving Archie! We just wanted to be home with him lol!

In other news....have you guys ever heard of LulaRoe clothing??? I've just recently discovered them and love their leggings! They are buttery soft! And I was so lucky and won free leggings for a year!!!! My first pair of free ones (I already own 3 pairs) came in this week and they are super cute!

This week we also got to spend time with my sister in law Katie and nephew Ronan! This little guy is getting so big! He's so much fun!!!

Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I had a great week of runs and workouts this week! And on Sunday I reached day 800 of my run streak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Friday- 2.7 mile run in 21:51 average pace 8:04
  • Saturday- 5.1 mile run in 43:11 average pace 8:32
  • Sunday- 2.6 mile run in 21:05 average pace 8:03
  • Monday- 2.5 mile run in 20:11 average pace 8:01, Strength training: legs
  • Tuesday- 2.6 mile run in 21:04 average pace 8:03
  • Wednesday- 2.6 mile run in 20:45 average pace 7:56, Strength training: chest, triceps, shoulders

  • Thursday- 2.6 mile run in 21:00 average pace 8:03

So that was my week! I had some great runs this week! And I got in two strength training sessions! I'm hoping to get in a third one this weekend.

I'm also planning on running at least 5-6 miles this weekend. It's almost time to start training for my next half marathon in October. I'm not looking forward to training in this heat!

I hope you all have a great weekend!!!

QOTD: What was your best run or workout this week?
