The Weekly Chase #187!

Happy Monday! This week is my very last week of summer vacation. Today through Wednesday I have teacher meetings. Then the boys meet their teachers on Thursday. It's going to be a busy week!

We had a nice, relaxing weekend! Friday we had some errands to run. We also went to Old Navy and got the boys some flip flops because both of theirs broke last week! Luckily since it's the end of summer the flip flops were on sale! Score!!!

We also took Archie to Petsmart and got his a dog bed. But....he has no interest in it as of yet. Hopefully that will change! He LOVED going to Petsmart! Especially because the cashiers gave him treats! ;-)

We went out to eat for dinner and then back home to watch the Olympics!

Saturday morning I woke up early and got in a 6 mile long run. I'll tell you more about the run on Wednesday.

Then it was breakfast, coffee, and reading time! I'm sure going to miss these lazy summer mornings!

We went out for lunch and did a little more shopping. There was even a Starbucks stop in there!!! It has been a while believe or not lol!

That night we went to the Brendel's house for breakfast for dinner! So yummy! Then we watched a movie and Michael Phelps swim his last Olympic swim!

Sunday morning I ran and then we headed to my in-law's house for lunch. The boys are staying there the next few days while I have my teacher meetings. I miss them already!!!

Here we are on our way! Archie loves to ride in the car and go places with us!

My mom-in-law cooked us a yummy lunch of salad, pork chops, rice, and field peas! So good!!!

Now it's time for the Weekly Chase! It's a new week and I have new goals to achieve! I hope you will link up your own goals with me too! And feel free to use the badge below in your post too! You can grab the badge HERE! :-)

Road Runner Girl

Here are my goals from last week!
  • Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! The streak is still going strong!
  • Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. 50%. I'm not doing good with the rolling part lately. Gotta get back into gear with this!
  • Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yep!
  • Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes!
  • Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. No. Again. I know I will be forced to do this once school starts and I don't have enough time to run as many miles as I do in the summer.
  • Goal #6: Take at least one walk this week. Yes! And having Archie helps with this!!
  • Goal #7: Strength train at least 2 times this week. 50%. I only got in one strength training session this week unfortunately.
  • Goal #8: Start working on my classroom. Yes! I got most of my classroom done last week! Yay!!!

Here are my goals for this week!

Every week goals:

Goal #1: Run every day!
Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily.
Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories.
Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week.

Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles.
Goal #6: Take at least one walk this week.
Goal #7: Strength train at least 2 times this week.

Goal #8: Start crate training Archie. We ordered a crate for him for when we are at work. Luckily I'm not gone all day. But he has started getting destructive when we have left him. The other day he chewed the cord off a floor lamp to pieces while we were gone. Thank goodness it wasn't plugged in! So we won't to be sure he is safe while we are gone. So many people have recommended crate training him. Any tips on crate training an around 2 years old dog???

Goal #9: Finish up everything in my classroom and for back to school. I need to finish up the last minute details in my classroom. I also need to do my lesson plans for the first week of school.

Goal #10: Birthday shop for Sawyer. Sawyer's 9th birthday is on Monday (the first day of school). I need to shop for his presents while he is at Grandma's house!

So that's the plan for this week! Hope you all have a great week!

QOTD: What goals are you chasing this week?
