Fitness Friday...January 6th Edition!

Happy Friday y'all!!! It has been a great week! We were still out of school on Monday and Tuesday and went back on Wednesday. I'm thankful it was a 3 day work week! It helped with getting back into the routine! But I'm not gonna lie...I'm so thankful it's now the weekend!!!

Monday was a rainy day so we didn't do a whole lot. Andy was still off of work...yay! We DID go to BodyPump at the gym with our friends Kirstin and Jim!!! Then we went back to their house for some yummy New Year's Day Dinner leftovers! (Our friends love to feed us...and we love to eat their food lol)

Tuesday we met friends for lunch and a movie! We were trying to live it up on our last day of vacation before school started back! We saw Moana...it was really good!!!

Wednesday it was back to school and work. Boo! But we survived! LuLaRoe leggings helped me stay comfy with my preschoolers!

Sawyer's homework that night was to write his New Year's Resolutions! He talked about gymnastics (of course)! And then he said the funniest thing! One of his resolutions is to not eat as much cheese lol! We've told him so many times that he eats too much cheese! I guess it stuck lol!

Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I had a great week of runs! And I got in at least one session of strength training this week! I'm calling that a win!!!

  • Friday- 2.7 mile run in 21:26 average pace 8:04
  • Saturday- 10.1 mile run in 1:27:21 average pace 8:41
  • Sunday- 2.8 mile run in 22:06 average pace 8:03
  • Monday- 2.7 mile run in 21:28 average pace 7:55, Strength training: BodyPump
  • Tuesday- 3.1 mile run in 25:07 average pace 8:03
  • Wednesday- 2.6 mile run in 20:58 average pace 8:00
  • Thursday- 2.6 mile run in 21:33 average pace 8:12

So that was my week! I had a great week of runs! I so enjoyed running in the daylight during Christmas break. But now it's back to dark runs.

This weekend I have 11 miles on the schedule. It's supposed to be really really cold (and possibly raining) so I'm not looking forward to it.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Happy Friday y'all! Can you believe that Christmas is in TWO days??!!! I'm officially freaking out lol! No...my shopping is not all done. No...my wrapping is not all done. But...it's gonna be ok! I'll get it done!

I wish you and your family a very very Merry Christmas!!! I hope you have an amazing day spending time with your loved ones!!! And always remember that the meaning of Christmas is all about Jesus!!!

It's been great having this week off from work! I've loved being with my boys all day!!! They truly are a gift!!!

We've had dinner with friends this week. Done some shopping. Played some board games. And just had a great time being together!

We even went and saw Santa!

The weather was freezing at the beginning of the week. But today we are in the 70's! Crazy southern weather....but I love it!!!

I had to bundle up warm for a few of my walks this week with Archie!

I also received some fun packages from Kohl's this week! Can you say...home gym??!! Stay tuned for a blog post about that!

And of course I wore a ton of LuLaRoe leggings this week! So comfy and soft!

And...my LuLaRoe business cards came in!!!! It's getting real y'all!!!

Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I got in all my runs this week AND I even got in one session of strength training!!! Yay! But I was so sore afterwards since it had been 2 weeks since I had been to the gym!

Fitness Friday...December 2nd Edition!

Y'all! Can you believe it's December already???? Christmas is going to be here before we know it and I am so NOT ready!!!

I had SUCH a busy week this week! At work we have been practicing our Christmas program every day. Our program is on Monday and it's going to be super cute! The kids have all worked so hard! But it's hard getting 4 year olds to sit still for practice everyday!

The best news this week....Archie passed his C.L.A.S.S. training test and earned his bachelor's degree!!! We had an amazing experience in our training class. The instructor was awesome! I was so nervous about this test...especially because Archie had to perform the skills without treats. But he did AWESOME! So so proud of my sweet pup!

And yes...in case you are wondering...that IS LuLaRoe that I'm wearing! I'm wearing the Irma top and it's so cute! I wore it with black leggings that day (Wednesday) at school!

Of course I wore more LuLaRoe to school this week too. I wore a Randy on Monday (sorry no pic). I wore leggings on Tuesday!

And I wore leggings and my new Sarah sweater on Thursday! Y'all I LOVE Sarah! So so pretty!

Thursday night Hayden had his first band concert and Sawyer had his first choir concert! They sounded so amazing! I LOVE that my boys are pursuing music in some way! Music has always been a huge part of my life and I love that they are loving it too!

Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I got in all my runs for my streak this week! It was crazy weather though. It went from cool to hot back to cool! I only got in one strength training session this week though. The week has just been so busy and I didn't have time to squeeze another one in.

  • Friday- 2.6 mile run in 20:46 average pace 7:55
  • Saturday- 3.5 mile run in 27:42 average pace 7:53
  • Sunday- 2.6 mile run in 20:40 average pace 7:52
  • Monday- 2.6 mile run in 21:09 average pace 8:00, Strength training: BodyPump

  • Tuesday- 2.6 mile run in 21:15 average pace 8:03
  • Wednesday- 2.6 mile run in 21:25 average pace 8:09
  • Thursday- 2.6 mile run in 21:30 average pace 8:09

It was a great week of runs! And BodyPump was great this week but harder since I took off for Thanksgiving. I was pretty sore afterwards.

This weekend I am running 6 miles. Half marathon training is officially starting again! My next half is at the end of January so I gotta get to training!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Fitness Friday...November 18th Edition!

Happy Friday y'all! And...happy we have the next week off for Thanksgiving!!!!! I'm a little excited y'all!!!

I had a great week! It started out a little rough though because Archie started having diarrhea and threw up one night. He had apparently eaten something he shouldn't have. We ended up taking him to the vet and now he is back to normal praise God! I did NOT like seeing my sweet boy not feeling good!

When he first had an upset tummy we cut back on his food serving. He was NOT happy about that lol! Boy LOVES his food!

Sad puppy dog eyes!

Preschool was busy for me this week as we got ready for our Thanksgiving Feast! I got my little class all ready to be Indians! So there was lots of glue, hot glue guns, and painting t-shirts done this week! But we are ready to feast today!!! :-)

I also went on a field trip with my Hayden this week! We went to the Mobile International Festival! We got to learn about different countries and try food from the different countries! It was a neat field trip but super crowded. That made it a little less fun but we survived!

Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I got in all my runs for my run streak as well as my goal of at least 2 strength training sessions! I'm trying to talk the hubby into going to BodyPump tonight and if he agrees then that will be 3 times this week!

  • Friday- 2.6 mile run in 20:31 average pace 7:47
  • Saturday- 2.6 mile run in 20:49 average pace 7:56
  • Sunday- Battleship 12K, 7.46 miles in 1:00:29 average pace 8:08
  • Monday- 2.6 mile run in 21:23 average pace 8:06, Strength Training: BodyPump

  • Tuesday- 2.6 mile run in 21:08 average pace 8:03
  • Wednesday- 2.6 mile run in 21:10 average pace 8:01, Strength Training: BodyPump

  • Thursday- 2.6 mile run in 20:53 average pace 7:55

So that was my week of fitness! I had some great runs this week! Them temps were in the high 40's and low 50's each morning so that made for some great running weather! And I'm so proud I got in all my strength training this week! I really didn't want to go to class Wednesday afternoon but I went and of course I didn't regret going!

This weekend I am planning on doing a 5-6 mile run. I'm not in official training mode yet so I'm going to enjoy running what I feel.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!
