The Weekly Chase #204!

Happy Monday y'all! I'm super happy that I don't have to go to work today!!!! Yay!!!! Perks of being a teacher!!!

We had a great but super busy weekend! Friday night we celebrated being out of school for Christmas Break by having dinner with friends! We ate one of our favorites...Mexican!



After dinner Andy helped me put up my backdrop for my LuLaRoe pictures! 


The lovely ladies in my LuLaRoe VIP group named my mannequin! Her name is Lula Belle!!!


Then we had family game night! We started Monopoly...and have been playing here and there all weekend lol! 


Saturday morning I ran 8 miles! I had a great run although my legs were super tired at the beginning. It was 70 degrees and humid but I was loving the weather! 

After showering I enjoyed Christmas music, coffee, and Archie time in my LuLaRoe holiday leggings! 


Then we did some grocery shopping and Christmas shopping! Later that afternoon I met my friend Kirstin for some afternoon coffee at a new coffee place (yeah it wasn't as good as Starbucks). We were both wearing our LuLaRoe so we needed a pictures of course!



That night we went to Andy's work Christmas party where we ate BBQ and got to watch the Christmas boat parade! It was fun!

Sunday morning Archie ran with me! It was 71 degrees when we started running. But about 30 minutes after we came in the temperature dropped by 20 degrees! 



The rest of the day was spent at my Dad's house for Christmas! It was so great spending time with my family! And I wore my red LuLaRoe leggings to be in the spirit!

And a girl is never too old to sit on her Dad's lap! Love my Dad so much!

Here are my goals from last week!

Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! I reached run streak day 940 this week! 
Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Stretch...yes. Rolling...no.
Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes! I was actually down by 1 pound this week which is odd because I haven't been eating the best with all these Christmas parties!
Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes!

Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. No.
Goal #6: Take at least one walk this week. Yes!
Goal #7: Strength train at least 2 times this week. No. Again...I didn't get this in. It's such a busy time of year! 
Goal #8: Write my Battleship 12K Race Recap. No. Since I'm not working the next two weeks I WILL get this done!
Goal #9: Buy a dirty santa gift for my work Christmas party. Yes! And my gift was a popular one!!!

Goal #9: Finish up Christmas shopping. I'm almost done but still have a few last minute things to get. 

Goal #10: Clean my house for Christmas company. Andy's family always comes Christmas Eve and spends the night. I need to get the house clean and ready for them.

So that's the plan this week! Hopefully I will do much better with my goals this week!

The Weekly Chase #203!

Happy Monday y'all!!! One more week....and we are out for Christmas vacation!!!! I know this week is going to fly by from all the busy things we have going on!

Friday at preschool Santa came to visit. And my boss made me go sit on Santa's lap after my class did lol! But it was worth it because Santa gave me chocolate!!! ;-)

And do you see my cute LuLaRoe Christmas leggings???!!!

 

After such a busy weekend last weekend, I was looking forward to a much slower one this weekend. And that's what we got! 

Friday night we had our traditional pizza night and we watched the newest Bourne Identity movie. My hubby LOVES those movies! 

Saturday morning it was FREEZING outside! But I had to get in a long run. I ran 7 miles and survived lol! 

I came in from my run to see THIS! I love how good they get along! And I think they think that couch is theirs lol! 


We went out for lunch and then we took Archie to the dog park. He had a blast playing with all his doggie friends! The rest of the day and night was spent playing Monopoly! My boys are fierce competitors y'all! 

Sunday was another cold run but not AS cold. I finally knocked out the first part of the Rock 'n' Roll Winter Runningland virtual run. I was late but at least I got it done!

I also got ready for the new week which meant doing lesson plans! At least it will be a fun week all about Christmas!

  • Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! I reached day 933 yesterday!!!
  • Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Stretch yes. Roll no.
  • Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes!
  • Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes!
  • Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. Yes! That's right! I said yes to this one lol! I had a super early field trip with Sawyer this week and woke up at 3:45am to run. I only had time for a run under 2 miles! 
  • Goal #6: Take at least one walk this week. Yes thanks to Archie!
  • Goal #7: Strength train at least 2 times this week. No. We had some nasty weather with tornado watches this week and I didn't want to leave my boys just in case. 
  • Goal #8: Write my Battleship 12K Race Recap. No...again. I know. I know. :-(

The Weekly Chase #202!

Happy Monday everyone! Today is our Christmas program at my preschool. My students have been practicing so hard for weeks! It's going to be super cute!

Friday night Hayden had his very first school dance!!! I can't believe my first born is getting so big!!! He went with two of his good friends! We kidded him about being a stud since he had two dates lol! They all had a blast!!!




After the dance we took them (along with the younger siblings) to go get ice cream! 



Saturday morning marked the beginning of half marathon training again! I ran 6 miles! Then I had a LuLaRoe Pop Up Party! It was very successful and so much fun!

Sunday morning I woke up to rain! We desperately needed the rain! And it was fun running in it! It rained ALL day so we enjoyed a lazy day at home!

  • Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes!
  • Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes!
  • Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. No. 
  • Goal #6: Take at least one walk this week. Yes!
  • Goal #7: Strength train at least 2 times this week. 50%. I only strength trained once this week. Archie had his obedience training test on the day I normally go to the gym so I didn't get another chance to go. 
  • Goal #8: Write my Battleship 12K Race Recap. No. :-( I've gotta get this done y'all! So sorry!
  • Goal #9: Get my house ready for my LuLaRoe Pop Up on Saturday! Yes! And the pop up was so much fun!!!

The Weekly Chase #201!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving! I know I sure did! I enjoyed spending lots of quality time with my family! It was a GREAT week and I'm sad it's over!

Today it's back to reality. But....in good news....we only have three weeks until Christmas vacation!!! I can do this!!!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We spent the night Wednesday night at Andy's sister Katie's house. It was also Archie's first sleepover lol! He slept great that night but never really rested or relaxed during the day. I think he was too anxious and wondering what was going on. Every time we would go outside he would go straight to the car wanting to leave! Hopefully he will get used to going other places especially since it is our Thanksgiving and Easter traditions to spend the night at Katie's house.


We had lots of yummy food! And Archie even got a special Thanksgiving treat...a pig ear...his favorite lol!


Andy and I did our annual Black Friday shopping date...although we got started a little later than normal this year. That's ok though since we didn't have a must on our list! 


Because of not getting his naps....Archie was so exhausted on Friday! Poor doggie!



Friday night we had "Friends-giving" at my friend Kirstin's house. But I failed to take any pictures! I know! What's wrong with me??!! We had a fun night though!

Saturday we headed back out of town to have Thanksgiving with Andy's extended family. Of course I wore some comfy LuLaRoe leggings to travel (and eat) in! 



His family lives out in the country and Archie of course went with us. He had a BLAST getting to explore off leash! We were amazed how well he did and that he would come to us when we called him! He's such a good dog!




It was a great day with family!!!!

Here are my goals from last week!
  • Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! I reached day 919 this week!
  • Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Stretching yes...rolling no.
  • Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. I maintained even though I didn't log everything. It was hard to log the Thanksgiving foods! But I tried to balance it with my splurges!
  • Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes!
  • Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. No.
  • Goal #6: Take at least one walk this week. Yes!
  • Goal #7: Strength train at least 2 times this week. 50%. I only got in 1 strength training session. It was harder when the gym's hours were cut due to the holidays.
  • Goal #8: Write my Battleship 12K Race Recap. No. I'm on it this week!
  • Goal #9: Spend quality time with my family. Yes! We've had such a great holiday!!!

The Weekly Chase #200!

Happy Thanksgiving week y'all!!! I am so thankful to be off of work this entire week! I'm looking forward to spending lots of quality time with my family and fur babies!!!

This weekend I met a turkey during my long run!


One of the farmers down the road from my house made him out of a bale of hay! At Halloween time they had a pumpkin jack 'o' lantern made out of a bale of hay too! So cute! 


I also have to share with y'all my newest pair of Lularoe leggings! These were my unicorn (a print you search and search to find)! I had only seen them with a teal background so I was so excited to see them with a black background! And I was fast enough to get them! The Disney girl in me LOVES these castles!!! 


Saturday we did some shopping! It got really cold this weekend and we discovered that the boys don't have any warm clothes! So we got them some jeans, long sleeve shirts, and jackets!

After shopping Andy just pulled right into Starbucks without me having to ask! He really does love me!!!


Archie stayed snuggled in his bed on Sunday morning when it was so cold! He LOVES his bed!!! 


Andy also decided he wanted to paint the living room this weekend! So we picked a color, went to Lowe's, and he painted! 


Because it was so cold on Sunday morning....I got to wear the new running tights I bought at TJ Max this summer! They are super cute!



Archie also decided he really wanted to go for a car ride after my run Sunday morning. So being the good doggie mommy that I am I took him for a ride around the block. He was one happy doggie after that lol!

Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. No.
Goal #6: Take at least one walk this week. Yes! I walked every day!
Goal #7: Strength train at least 2 times this week. Yes!!!
Goal #8: Dye and paint Indian shirts. Yes! And they turned out super cute!
Goal #9: Finish Thanksgiving Feast centerpieces. Yes! We had a great Thanksgiving Feast at preschool!
