Glass Slipper Challenge Training Week 4!

Currently Training For:
Double Bridge Run 15K
Disney Princess 5K
Disney Enchanted 10K

8 miles was on the schedule for this week. Luckily I was going to run with Jenny and her husband Eric again! 

We chose to run around Jenny's house since we ran from mine last week. Eric had to run 18 miles so he ran the first 10 with us. 

The weather was 61 degrees and foggy. The fog cleared really quickly. But the humidity was strong. 

The sun was just starting to rise when we got started! So pretty!

The run started great. I love running with Jenny because it makes the time go by so fast! We talked and talked like always!

We ran by lots of cows and cow pastures!

In the field above there is a hound dog that lives there. He just howled and howled at us as we ran by! He ran along beside us protecting his cows! He was just so cute! And luckily he was inside the fence with the cows!

We ran halfway to mile 4 and then stopped for a quick drink of water. Then we headed back. It started to get hot on the way back!

We had just a few miles to go when a black dog ran out into the road to greet us. He seemed friendly. But then right behind him came a pit bull. Now those dogs terrify me! I got scared but then there was some traffic and a truck almost ran over the pit bull. I think it scared him and he stopped running towards us thank goodness.

Of course that little scare made us speed up a little lol! Before we knew it we were done! 8 miles down!!!

We took a quick selfie with Eric and sent him on his way. He still had 10 more miles to go! I will admit that I did not envy him at all. I was glad to be done lol!

Jenny's sweet daughter Lily came outside and took a picture of us! 

We stretched and talked for awhile. But we couldn't talk for too long because I had a busy day ahead of me since we were traveling to Birmingham for Sawyer's gymnastics meet.

It was a great run! Next week we have a "rest" week. We only have to run 6 miles! My body needs that little break!
