Fitness Friday...February 21st Edition!

Hey everyone! I don't know about where you live...but here on the Gulf Coast we have been given a taste of spring this week! The highs have been in the 70's!!! It feels great...except for when I want to run. I'm not ready for those humid and hot summer runs yet!

Also...check out this new medal I got in the mail this week! Yes! It's a charity medal from Rock 'n' Roll Race Series! Since I was able to use my registration fee from the cancelled St. Jude Memphis Half Marathon to run the Rock 'n' Roll New Orleans Half Marathon...I got another medal because I was running for charity! That's so awesome!!!


It's time for Fitness Friday! I'm finally getting back into a running routine! I'm excited that I actually ran 3 times this week! Yay!



  • Saturday- 8.25 mile run in 1:31:58 average pace 11:09
  • Sunday- #plankaday 1:10
  • Monday- Rest
  • Tuesday- #plankaday 1:18, 3.55 mile run in 39:17 average pace 11:03

  • Wednesday- #plankaday 1:01
  • Thursday- #plankaday 1:05, 3 mile run in 30:38 average pace 10:13

  • Friday- #plankaday 1:00

I have a 9 mile long run planned for Saturday morning. I'll be running 5 miles by myself (unless a friend decides to join me) and the last 4 with my Sole2Soul Sisters! It should be a fun run!
