As a runner I am always on the search for the best pair of sunglasses to run in. So when the opportunity arose to review some through Girls Gone Sporty I was thrilled!
I LOVE the Under Armour brand and was so excited to review a pair of their sunglasses. Truthfully, I had no idea they even carried sunglasses! I chose the Igniter II Sunglasses because they said they were good for running and I liked the look of them. Hey...they have to function AND look good in my opinion!
When I first put them on I was amazed at how light they were! I could barely tell I was wearing them! That's definitely a plus because when I'm running I don't want any extra weight. I also liked how clear and crisp everything looked through the lenses.
The real test for me was to wear them on a run. Again they were super light. They didn't bounce up and down on my face. And amazingly...my sweat didn't get on them at all! Usually my sunglasses are just as wet with sweat as I am! And since there was no sweat on the lenses they also did not fog up! The lenses are made out of a coating that is supposed to repel water and resist scratching, smudging, and staining. Sounds perfect for a runner!
Overall I loved these sunglasses! They will definitely go into my race bag as a must have! The only thing I didn't like about them was the lenses were not as dark as I would have liked. But I'm sure that's an easy option to change.
