Nevertheless I am planning a weekend of lazy days on the couch watching movies with the family! That is if we have power! :-/
Quick change of subject! I haven't shared a picture of Cullen in a while and I know some of you are in withdrawal! ;-) So here's one of my baby! We've almost had him an entire year! He's made such an awesome addition to our family!
It's now time for Fitness Friday! I'm ready to tell you all about my runs this week. It wasn't as good of a week as I'd hoped but it's all my fault. I was supposed to get up early and run on Tuesday but I didn't. My alarm never went off. Instead the alarm for the days I don't run went off...and it's 45 minutes later than my run alarm. I'm not really sure what happened but I figured there must have been some reason why I didn't need to run that day. More rest for my sore hip can't be a bad thing. So here's how my week went!
- Saturday- 10 mile run in 1:52:15 average pace 11:14
- Sunday- #plankaday 1:03
- Monday- #plankaday 1:03
- Tuesday- #plankaday 1:05
- Wednesday- #plankaday 1:11
- Thursday- #plankaday 1:05, 3.11 mile run in 33:44 average pace 10:51
- Friday- #plankaday 1:00
The runs I did have were good! My hip is still sore but doesn't seem to be getting any worse. I'm going to keep on rolling and stretching each day. My IT Band and Glutes are still tight. Rolling hurts so good! ;-)
Hopefully Tropical Storm Karen doesn't affect my 11 miler tomorrow! It will be my last long run before I taper for my half marathon on October 20th!
