Fitness Friday...December 18th Edition!

Woohoo! Today is the last day of school and the start of Christmas holidays!!! It's been a busy week at preschool but we end it all today with our class party!

This week was super busy at home too! On Tuesday night we had our pack Christmas party with the cub scouts.

Wednesday I did some more Christmas shopping after school. Later that night I had coffee with my sister at our favorite coffee shop.

Thursday was supposed to be a day of Christmas parties with my boys but Sawyer got sick Wednesday evening. So I got an unexpected day off with him. Poor baby! I hate it when my babies are sick! He ended up having strep throat. Luckily the antibiotics should have him feeling better in no time!

Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I had a great week of running! The calf doesn't hurt at all anymore! I did have a few days this week where my lower back was hurting though so that's no fun. But it seemed to get a little better. The good thing is that it didn't hurt when I was running! I have an old stress fracture in my back from years and years ago and sometimes it will flare up like that. No fun!

  • Friday- #plankaday 1:15, 1.36 mile run in 11:52 average pace 8:43

  • Saturday- 1.51 mile run in 12:56 average pace 8:33
  • Monday- #plankaday 1:10, 1.31 mile run in 11:18 average pace 8:38

  • Tuesday- #plankaday 1:30, 1.51 mile run in 13:04 average pace 8:40

  • Wednesday- #plankaday 1:15, 1.51 mile run in 12:55 average pace 8:33

  • Thursday- #plankaday 1:10, 1.31 mile run in 10:57 average pace 8:21

My runs were great this week! The streak is still going strong and I'm still enjoying it! The weather was crazy this week though! A few mornings were cool and some were hot! Crazy Gulf Coast weather! I also really enjoyed my 5 mile long run with Andria! It felt so great to run long again!

I had lots of temptations this week with my eating. So many parents at school have been bringing in goodies for the teachers. One day they brought in all different kinds of cookies. And cookies are my weakness. Yes I ate some...and they were so good! Another day a parent brought in donuts but I'm proud to say I didn't eat one! It's so hard this time of year!

This weekend I have a 6 mile run planned! Me and Andria are going to run together again! I can't wait! :-)
