How did everyone's weekend go? Ours was great! We left Friday afternoon to travel to Birmingham for Sawyer's gymnastics meet. That night we went to the Festival of Lights that was just down the street from our hotel. It was a light show that you drove through! It was so neat and the boys loved it!
Then it was back to the hotel for bedtime! My boys got in bed and immediately grabbed their books to read! I love that they both like to read!
The next morning I woke up early and ran around the parking lot of the hotel and surrounding businesses! I had to keep my streak alive! Then it was time for the gymnastics meet! I'll be doing a post about Sawyer's meet this week so stayed tuned for lots of pictures and video! I'll just say that my boy did amazing for his first competition!
After the competition we ate some lunch and then headed the 4 hours home! That night we all relaxed from the busy day! And had our pizza night!
Sunday morning I ran my long run of 5 miles with my friend Andria! I'll tell you more about the run on Wednesday! Then we went to church for the choir Christmas program! Later that afternoon we went to the park with my sister and Ella! It was a great weekend!!!

Here are my goals from last week!
- Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! I kept the streak alive! I even hit day 200 last week!!!
- Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. 95%. I didn't do this on Saturday when we were in Birmingham.
- Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes! Did great this week despite a Christmas party and traveling!
- Goal #4: Shop for a Christmas party present. Yes! Had a blast at my work Christmas party!
- Goal #5: Pack for Sawyer's gymnastics meet. Yes!
- Goal #6: Put together goodies for the gymnasts. Yes! And the boys seemed to like their goodies!
Here are the goals I'm chasing this week!
Goal #1: Run every day! I plan on keeping the streak alive! And this next weekend I will be upping my mileage another mile to 6 miles! :-)
Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. The calf is feeling great but I still plan on rolling and icing it so it stays that way!
Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. With the Christmas season comes so many indulgences! I allow myself to indulge but not like I used to. I worked too hard to get the weight off...I will be sure not to gain it back this holiday season. Everything in moderation!
Goal #4: Get Christmas presents for my class parents done. I have a cute gift idea! I just need to complete it this week!
Goal #5: Finish Christmas shopping. I'm almost done but I have a few last minute things to get.
Goal #6: Pack the boys for Grandma's house. When the boys get out of school on Friday they are going to Grandma's house for the weekend! She has lots of fun things planned for them like watching Christmas movies and baking Christmas cookies! And that means me and the hubby will have the weekend all to ourselves!!!
