Fitness Friday...January 16th Edition!

Hello three day weekend! Yes I'm super excited to be off of work on Monday! It's been another super busy week with lots of things going on around here.

The main thing is my cat Cullen started acting really weird. He was cleaning his bottom a lot and going to the litter box constantly. I took him to the vet and he has a UTI. So he's on antibiotics. He's still not acting his normal cheery self but hopefully we are on the road to recovery. I'm tired of checking the litter box constantly to see how much he peed if at all. Poor little guy has just been miserable!

The boys both had their honors awards ceremonies this week. I'm so proud of them both! Hayden got AB Honor Roll, perfect attendance, and made his reading AR goal! Sawyer made his reading AR goal and got A Honor Roll! We are super proud of Sawyer making A Honor Roll because he had a C in reading first quarter and pulled it up to an A! So proud of both my boys!!!

Thursday night I got to have coffee with my sister. It's been a while since we've had our sister time due to getting back into the swing of things after Christmas break. It was great to see her and do some catching up!

Now it's time for Fitness Friday! This week was a week full of runs in several different types of weather! I ran in the freezing cold, humidity, and rain! But nothing stopped me! My #RRGRunStreak is still going strong!

  • Friday- #plankaday 1:05, 1.35 mile run in 11:56 average pace 8:51

  • Sunday- 1.55 mile run in 13:14 average pace 8:32
  • Monday- #plankaday 1:15, 1.36 mile run in 12:05 average pace 8:53

  • Tuesday- 1.56 mile run in 13:29 average pace 8:38
  • Wednesday- #plankaday 1:05, 1.30 mile run in 11:17 average pace 8:40

  • Thursday- #plankaday 1:15, 1.57 mile run in 13:44 average pace 8:45

The running went great this week! It was crazy weather though! Friday and Saturday's runs were really cold! Then Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday it was much warmer and humid. Wednesday it was cool again and Thursday it was a little warmer but raining! But when you're streaking you get out there no matter what!

This weekend I have a 10 mile run on the schedule! Andria will be running with me. It will be our last long run before Rock 'n' Roll New Orleans Half Marathon! The half is NEXT WEEKEND!!!!! I'm hoping for a great long run!
