The Weekly Chase #106!

Happy Monday everyone! And if you're off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day then I hope you enjoy it! Me and my boys are off!

This weekend was a fun one! But there were also some hiccups in it as well. It started Friday night with a girls night with some of my friends! We went and had pedicures together! It was so much fun!

And we got our toes ready for New Orleans! The Rock 'n' Roll New Orleans Half Marathon is THIS weekend!!!

Afterwards, since running and races are always on our minds, we went to Walmart and bought matching tank tops for the Crescent City Classic 10K in New Orleans in April! Always thinking ahead about those cute race outfits! ;-)

Saturday I ran my last long run of 10 miles for #RnRNola training! I'll be recapping the run for you on Wednesday. The rest of the day was spent at home because Sawyer started not feeling well. :-( Yes I know....my boys keep getting sick lately! He has a sore throat, is congested, and has a cough. But he's not running fever and is still fairly active. So I'm hoping it's just a cold. That night right after going to bed Hayden came out crying and saying he felt like he was going to throw up. Luckily he never did. But he had me worried.

So Sunday we didn't go to church since Sawyer was feeling bad and I wasn't sure what was going on with Hayden. It's a good thing because Hayden woke up with pink eye! So it's been a weekend full of sickness around here.

Kind of sad because the hubby was going to take me on a date. But we couldn't leave the boys when we knew they were feeling bad.

Hopefully whatever sickness that's going around...it will NOT get to me since I have my race this weekend!

Now it's time for the Weekly Chase! It's a new week and I have new goals to achieve! I hope you will link up your own goals with me too! And feel free to use the badge below in your post too! You can grab the badge HERE! :-)

Road Runner Girl

Here are my goals from last week!

  • Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! The #RRGRunStreak is still alive!
  • Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yes! And I'm not only just icing my calf that was injured...but because of paranoia that I'm going to get injured somewhere else I'm icing my other calf AND my knee!
  • Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes! I did good with this this week! :-)
  • Goal #4: Get my monthly calendar for work completed. Done!
  • Goal #5: Cook meals this week. Yep! I cooked almost every night this week! Yay!

Here are the goals I'm working on this week!

Goal #1: Run every day! Gotta keep the streak going! I plan on just running one milers this week to take it easy for my race.

Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Like I mentioned above I am icing more things these days. I'm determined to stay injury free for my race this weekend, Disney Princess Half, and Seaside Half!

Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. This past week my appetite wasn't as hearty as normal. I've been good about listening to my body. When I'm full I stop eating instead of cleaning my plate even when I'm already full.

Goal #4: Start working on Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend costumes! My costume for the half is almost complete. But I haven't even started on one for the 10K!

Goal #5: Hydrate and fuel for my half marathon on Sunday! I need to make sure I drink lots of water this week as well as fuel well the few days leading up to the race! :-)

Goal #6: Pack for race weekend! I always say I'm going to start packing a few days early so I don't forget anything. But I always procrastinate and pack in a rush. I'm going to try to pack early this time!

So that's my plan for the week! I hope you have a great week crushing your goals!

QOTD: What goals are you chasing this week?
