All 4 Run Virtual 4 Mile Race Recap!

Disclaimer: As a Gone For a Run ambassador I was given a complimentary race entry. No other compensation was received. All opinions are mine alone.

Last Friday I ran the All 4 Run Virtual 4 Mile Race by GoneForARun.com! I love their virtual races and this was another fun one!

My friends Andria and Jenny came to run with me. We ran a different route which made it nice. I always like to change it up some so I don't get too bored.

It was super hot and humid that morning. I'm pretty used to it so I didn't worry too much about it. We started running and I knew this run was going to be a little bit of a struggle. My legs were so very tired. But I kept running.

It helped so much having Jenny and Andria there talking through out the run! We always have so much fun on our runs together!

Before I knew it we had made it to our turn around point. We were all wishing we had dropped water for a water stop. We were pretty thirsty. But we didn't so we had to keep on going.

The last two miles I was so ready to be done. I didn't know why I was wanting the run to be over so bad. But I was struggling some! Then I thought about it. I had been on my feet the entire day before cleaning my house. I think my legs and body were tired from that. That's why this run was harder than normal for me.

Finally we made it back home! We did it! And I was so thankful to be done!!!

We took our finishing picture in front of the flag in front of my neighborhood. It was almost 4th of July after all!!!

Super sweaty and happy to be done!!!

Andria was so sweet and brought us all chocolate milk to recover with! It tasted sooo good!!! There's nothing like chocolate milk after a hard run!

The All 4 Run 4 Mile Virtual Race was complete! And I earned a pretty sweet medal for running it!

Be sure to check out all the virtual races that GoneForARun.com has to offer!

QOTD: Did you run a race for the 4th of July?
