The Weekly Chase #165!

Happy Monday y'all! I'm pretty excited because we have the day off of school! It's a teacher work day and although I'm a teacher I teach preschool so we have the same day off as the public schools do. So I'm able to be here with my boys! Yay!

This weekend was crazy busy! On Friday night we went to dinner with our friend Kirstin, Jim, and their daughter Maddy. They are big pizza lovers like us so that's what we ate! And also because I was going to run a long run the next day too so I needed that pizza! ;-)

We went to Mellow Mushroom (one of my favorite pizza places). We were starving so we also ordered an appetizer. We got the hummus and it was amazing! And of course I got my traditional mushroom and pepperoni pizza...soooo yummy!

Saturday morning I woke up early to get in a long run. I was planning on 5-6 miles. I knew it was going to be a rainy run. I woke up to this.

Luckily it wasn't too bad. The rain was light and it was actually refreshing! I had a great run!

After I showered we headed to Cracker Barrel for breakfast with Andy's family. It was his Dad's birthday so we were celebrating. We met there at 9:00 but didn't get seated until 9:50! Note to self.....do not go to Cracker Barrel on a Saturday morning! It was crazy busy! But once we got seated it was much smoother. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious!

After breakfast we went to the Toyota dealership to look at the Toyota Rav 4. My Honda Odyssey van has a lot of miles on it and needs some work. We are just shopping around to see if we can get anything else. No promises. But I did like the way the Rav 4 drove and felt! We will see!

Then it was time to head to Birmingham! Sawyer had his last gymnastics competition of the season! It was also his state meet! The drive there takes about 4 hours so it wasn't that fun but we made it.

Starbucks definitely helped make the drive better for me!!! ;-)

Sunday I got in my run around the hotel. Guess what I spotted on my run? The Oscar Mayer Weiner Mobile!!! Of course I just had to take a selfie with it!!!

Then it was time for Sawyer's meet! He did great! One of the other moms had an idea to get all the boys on the team a trophy to give them at the state meet. The boys LOVED the trophies and were so excited!!!!

After the meet we grabbed some lunch and then made the trek home. And my sweet hubby made a special stop just for me at Starbucks! He's such a sweetie!!!

Now it's time for the Weekly Chase! It's a new week and I have new goals to achieve! I hope you will link up your own goals with me too! And feel free to use the badge below in your post too! You can grab the badge HERE! :-)
