Monday was Memorial Day and we did what most people did...we grilled out with friends! Our friends Kirstin and Jim invited us over to their house along with some other fiends! I LOVE that Andy and I were wearing red, white, and blue together!
I greatly enjoyed my yummy food that day! And dessert (not pictured) too! Luckily my friends are fitness minded like me and we took a walk after we ate!
On Tuesday we went out for lunch with Kirstin, her cousin Emily that was in town, and our kids! We ate at Newk's Eatery (one of my favorites places)! Then we went for a walk down by the bay! We didn't really think about how hot is is so our 1:00 walk left us super sweaty and hot! But we had fun so that made it worth it!
After walking we wanted some coffee! Kirstin wanted to take Emily to a local coffee shop called The Coffee Loft. I hadn't been there in awhile and forgot how yummy it was! And my frozen coffee was so refreshing after that hot walk!
The boys and I had to leave the coffee shop early because they both had dentist appointments! They both got great teeth reports! And Hayden even got one of his baby molars (it had been loose for what seemed like forever) pulled by the dentist! And he didn't even cry! He did so great!
Wednesday we went shopping with Kirstin and Emily and the kiddos! I got some great deals at Loft! Then we headed to Mobile for lunch at Steak and Shake (so yummy) and a visit to Costco!
That night we had dinner at the new Moe's Southwest Grill that just opened in our town. We have a Moe's already but it's a little further away. This one is closer to our house. And my hubby designed it as well! It was yummy as always!
Thursday we had a relaxing morning at home that we needed after being so busy all week. I got caught up on household chores and laundry! Then we went to Target with Maddy and got Icee's!
Kirstin had a doctor's appointment so we shopped at Target and Old Navy and then met her at Starbucks!
Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I had a great week of runs! And this week I celebrated Global Running Day...which I'm sure most of you did as well!

My runs were great this week! I ran a lot more mileage than what I normally do during the week. But that's the beauty of not having to go to work! I also got in several walks after my runs too!
My back is feeling so much better!!! I'm so thankful that it wasn't serious! And I'm so thankful it didn't interfere with my runs. I can't imagine not running every day!
This weekend I will do some kind of long run. It will most likely be 5-7 miles. It will all depend on how I feel when I get out there and how hot and humid it is. I'm planning on waking up earlier to beat the heat.
