The Weekly Chase #29!

Happy Monday everyone! As you may have noticed the past few days...my blog got a face lift! Yes...a new design, new logo, new colors. Erin from Love, Fun, and Football did the design and she was amazing to work with! She was so patient in answering all my many questions. And she was super fast! I contacted her on Tuesday and by Thursday she had a rough draft for me! We finalized all the details that day and on Friday she installed the new design! I will say I freaked out a little while she was installing it when I saw all my comments disappear. But she fixed it and all my comments reappeared! Yay! I highly recommend Erin if you are looking for a redesign for your blog! Make sure to check out her blog for more info!

This past weekend was pretty low key for us. Andy helped his sister and her husband move on Saturday so me and the boys were on our own. We had plans to swim but the thunderstorms hindered that a bit. We watched a few movies and played with some Legos for part of the day. I love my two boys! Sunday we went to church and then hung around the house the rest of the day. And...the sun came out and the boys were able to swim!!!

Had a little photo shoot with the boys! Mommy wanted a nice posed picture...boys wanted a goofy, crazy picture! We compromised and did both! Lol! Yeah...don't judge! ;-)

Since it's Monday you know what that means? Time for the Weekly Chase! I can't wait to tell you all my goals for this week! I hope you will join me and link up your goals with us!

Road Runner Girl

Now – It is July – that means a new challenge! Molly has created the All About the Minutes Challenge! Each day this week you are to take one minute and do one exercise as many times as you can in that minute!

Here's how I did with my goals last week:

  • Goal #1: Run 4 times this week. Yes! I added in an extra day of running last week and it felt great!
  • Goal #2: Get in at least one walk each week for some cross training. No. With all the rain this week I didn't get this in. My priority was my runs. :-(
  • Goal #3: Update my resume. FAIL...again! :-(
  • Goal #4: Register the boys for school. Yes! And it was super easy doing it online! Can't believe I'm going to have a third grader and first grader this school year!
  • Goal #5: Work on St. Jude fundraising. I did a few things but not as many as I need to.

Here are the goals I am chasing this week!

Goal #1: Run 4 times this week. The plan is to run two 3 miler, one 1 miler, and a longer run on the weekend.

Goal #2: Get in at least one walk each week for some cross training. I want to be sure to get this in this week.

Goal #3: Do my "All About the Minutes" exercises every day (challenge goal). I plan on doing planks (this day won't be hard since I plank anyway), squats, lunges, burpees, push-ups, crunches, and dips.

Goal #4: Work on St. Jude fundraising. I am still trying to hit the halfway mark. I only need $50. If you want to help you can DONATE HERE! :-)

Goal #5: Update my resume. I'm gonna attempt this one again.

Goal #6: Start preparing for Hayden's birthday. Hayden will be turning 8 on the 27th! I need to start thinking about gifts and what we are going to do to celebrate his birthday!

So that's the plan for the week!

QOTD: What goals are you chasing this week? What do you think about my new blog design?

Don't forget to enter the two giveaways I have going on right now...babyBelle Bodybuffer and Ripped Cream Protein Coffee Creamer
