The Weekly Chase #134!

How did everyone's weekend go? I hope it was great! We had a pretty low key one! My head is in back to school mode. I've been busy getting my classroom ready and thinking all things preschool. I'm sad summer is over but I'm also getting excited about my new group of preschoolers!

On Friday we did a little shopping for classroom needs. And running tanks. And then of course I had to text a silly dressing room selfie to Jenny (in my defense she started it and texted me one the day before)!

The boys and I spent most of the day working in my classroom. We took a break or two for lunch...and Starbucks! ;-)

Saturday was long run day! I had to run solo since Jenny is out of town. But I was running the Road Shark 5 Mile Virtual Race (I added another 1.2 miles to make it a 10K) so it was all good! I got a medal at the end!!!

The rest of the day was pretty lazy. I did some blogging. And hung out with my boys while Andy helped his parents with a project.

I also drank coffee out of my hubby's favorite Mickey Mouse mug....but don't tell him!!!

And Hayden and I had fun with these goofy glasses! Do you like my mustache???

Sunday we went to church. We all came out wearing blue (it wasn't planned) so some pictures were in order of course!

After church we went out to lunch. And then we played at Lowe's!

Later that afternoon we met our friends Kirstin and Jim for coffee! Yum!

That's when we noticed Sawyer wasn't feeling well. He had been complaining of a headache all weekend but wasn't running any fever. Well Sunday evening the fever started. Poor baby doesn't feel good at all! :-( Hopefully he gets well soon because I need to finish my classroom by Wednesday!

Now it's time for the Weekly Chase! It's a new week and I have new goals to achieve! I hope you will link up your own goals with me too! And feel free to use the badge below in your post too! You can grab the badge HERE! :-)

Road Runner Girl

Here are my goals from last week!

  • Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! I had some great runs this week!
  • Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yep!
  • Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes! I did really great at this this week! Back on track!
  • Goal #4: Incorporate some weight training into my routine. No. :-( I failed miserably this week.
  • Goal #5: Make Hayden's birthday a special day! Yes! He said he had a ton of fun on his special day!!!

Here are my goals for this week!

Goal #1: Run every day! I plan on keeping the streak going! It's going to get harder again once school starts. So I'm enjoying the daylight before I have to go back to early morning runs!

Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Gotta stay injury free!

Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. I plan on cooking a lot this week. That always helps me stay on track with my calories.

Goal #4: Finish decorating and organizing my classroom. I have to get this done by Wednesday because the carpets in our school are being cleaned on Thursday and Friday and we can't work in our classroom on those days.

Goal #5: Complete my school calendar, parent letter, and first week lesson plans. All of these things have to be turned in next week. I'm hoping to get them all done this week!

So that's the plan for this week! I also plan on enjoying the rest of summer vacation with my boys as much as we can! I have tons of teacher meetings next week so this is my last week of vacation.

Have a great week everyone!!!

QOTD: What are your goals this week?
