The Weekly Chase #143!

We had a great weekend! It was pretty chilly and windy all weekend. We haven't seen the sun in over a week but it peeked out here and there yesterday. So I'm hoping for some sunshine this week!

Friday after school my coworker Allison and I went to Starbucks. It was cold outside so I decided not to get a frappuccino. I ordered a hazelnut latte instead. It was good but I'm not sure I like the syrup that much. I would order it again but it isn't a love like the frappuccino is. I'm still looking for my perfect winter drink!

After we dropped Sawyer off for gymnastics, Hayden and I headed to Target. I needed water for a water stop for my 12 mile run the next day. While we were there we had some fun with Halloween costumes!

Then we headed to pick up pizza for dinner. I had to carb up for my run the next morning!

The next morning I ran 12 amazing miles! I'll tell you more about my run on Wednesday! The rest of the day was spent shopping for some winter clothes! The boys had no pants that fit them! Of course when you shop you need Starbucks too! I wanted my frappuccino despite it being cold outside!

That night was relaxation time! My 4:15am wake up started catching up with me around 9pm! I went to bed even before my boys did! I was tired!

Sunday morning we went to church. The boys and I were decked out in some of our new clothes!

After church we went out to lunch with our friends Kirstin and Jim and their family! Then the kids and guys all went to hit golf balls while us girls went shopping! Of course Starbucks was in the mix! And one of the baristas was super sweet and made me and Kirstin a sample of the Toasted Graham Latte! Oh my goodness it was like heaven in a cup! I LOVED it!

Here are my goals from last week!

  • Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! The streak is still going strong! I hit day 488 yesterday!
  • Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yes! Trying to keep myself injury free!
  • Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes! I've been down in my weight this week so logging is working!
  • Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes! I hit at least 11,000 steps each day...even if I had to walk around and around the living room at night lol!
  • Goal #5: Get my monthly calendar for work completed. Yep!
  • Goal #6: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. Yes! On Monday I ran under 2 miles!

Here are the goals I'm chasing this week!

Goal #1: Run every day! Gotta keep my run streak alive!

Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Gotta stay injury free!

Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. I love my weight and how my body looks now. The key is to maintain it. The only way to do that for me is to stay accountable for all the foods I eat. 

Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. LOVE knowing I have moved this much each day!

Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. My legs are pretty sore from all the running I did this weekend (12 miles on Saturday and 3 miles + a 1.3 mile walk on Sunday). I need to run a couple of easy days this week.

Goal #6: Get out all the Halloween decorations. The boys have been begging me to put up our Halloween decorations. Gotta do that just for them this week! :-)
