The Weekly Chase #145!

Happy Monday!!! I had an amazing weekend! And you may have seen that I PRed my half marathon yesterday by over 2 minutes!!!! I'll write a race recap this week to tell you all about it!

Friday evening started out with a manicure and pedicure girls night out! We were getting our nails all done for the race (one of our traditions)! So much fun!


Then we headed to Mobile for Greek Fest! I've never been! And the food was sooo yummy! It was so much fun!



Saturday morning I ran a quick run to keep my streak alive. Then we headed to Louisiana! I'll tell you more about packet pickup and the day before the race this week too!

Here are my goals from last week!

  • Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! I reached day 500 of my run streak on Friday!!!!!
  • Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yes!
  • Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. I logged my calories all week but this weekend while I was out of town for my race I didn't log everything. 
  • Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes! I even walked up and down the hallway of the hotel Saturday night to be sure to get my 11,000 steps!
  • Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. Yes!
  • Goal #6: Drink lots of water and fuel well for my next half marathon on Sunday! Yes! I did well with the fueling apparently since I PRed!!!

Here are my goals for this week!

Goal #1: Run every day! Definitely keeping the streak going! I have no idea how long I'll continue...but I'm still loving it!

Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Gotta keep this up in hopes to stay injury free!

Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. I definitely ate whatever I wanted this weekend. Gotta get back to tracking this week!

Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Love reaching this goal every day! I like knowing I am active each day!

Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. Got to give my body some recovery time from my half. I'm not planning on doing a long run this weekend. Instead I am running a 5K race.
