The weather this weekend was amazing!!! It finally felt like fall around here! It was around 68 degrees each morning for my runs! So awesome! I ran a 10K PR on Saturday morning with my Sole2Soul Sisters! And then the rest of the day was spent with my sisters and family. It was my niece Ella's first birthday party!!!
My sisters Christy, Amy, and me!
All the cousins!
Sweet Ella Bella loving her cake!
Sunday was spent at a Cub Scout meeting and just relaxing around the house. I needed some relaxation because I've been battling an awful cold since Thursday. Hopefully I will start to feel better soon! I'm ready to breathe normal again! The only time I can breathe normal is when I'm running lol!
Here are my goals from last week and how I did with them!
- Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! Even after running my half marathon I kept right on streaking!
- Goal #2: Roll, stretch, ice daily. I did great with this this week! I started rolling while my coffee is brewing and that has become my routine! ;-)
- Goal #3: Log and stay under all my calories this week. Yep! And I lost 0.9 pounds last week!
- Goal #4: Clean the guest bedroom. Yes! I cleaned it as much as I could. Before there was stuff all over the bed. But my sister could actually sleep in the bed once I got it all cleaned up! ;-)
Here are the goals I'm chasing this week!
Goal #1: Run every day! I'm still enjoying my streak so I'm going to continue it! I almost broke the streak last week though. Thursday I woke up with a scratchy throat and by that night I felt fevery (although I never actually had any fever). I went to bed early praying I would feel better the next morning so I could run. Luckily I did and the streak was kept alive!
Goal #2: Roll and stretch daily. The plan is to continue to do this while my coffee is brewing every morning! :-)
Goal #3: Log and stay under all my calories this week. I'm loving being a healthier me! And I just realized last week that I now weigh 15 pounds less than what I weighed when I got pregnant with my first child (and I was skinny then)! Feels good!
Goal #4: Work on fundraising for St. Jude. I'm running the St. Jude Memphis Half Marathon this year in December. You may remember that I tried to run it last year but the race got canceled due to an ice storm. I decided to run it this year and am trying to raise $500 for St. Jude. I'm halfway there but need to raise the other half before the November 1st deadline. If you'd like to donate I'd appreciate it! No donation is too small! Donate HERE! :-)
So that's the plan for this week! Good luck with your goals this week too!
QOTD: What goals are you chasing this week?
