I have a super busy weekend! On Saturday I am heading to Mississippi to participate in the Zombie Run with several of my blends (blogger friends)! I am going to be one of the zombies! They will be putting all kinds of makeup all over me to make me look hideous lol! It should be fun!
Then Saturday afternoon I am hoping to make it to my local running store because ultrarunner Scott Jurek will be there! I have been reading (I'm almost finished) his book "Eat & Run" and it's amazing!!! I'm hoping I get home in time from the Zombie Run to meet him.
Sunday I am running my 16th half marathon...the Gulf Coast Half Marathon on Pensacola Beach! This will be my third time running this race! Last year I PRed! I'm not sure I can beat my Seaside PR so this one will be all about fun! Several of my friends are running it so it should be a blast. This will also be my last half marathon of the season. I know...it's about time! I've been racing a ton lately...but I love it!
One more bit of news...I am excited to announce that I am a Shubeez affiliate!!!
What are Shubeez? They are the cutest little tags that you put on your shoes! I love that they believe "that everyone has the power to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others." And what an awesome way to celebrate your accomplishments by looking down at your shoe and seeing it!!!
As an affiliate I will be letting you know about any sales and specials on these cute shoe tags! Just make sure when you order that you choose Road Runner Girl in the affiliate drop down box. And if you DO order...please send me pics of your Shubeez!!!! I want to see them!!! :-)
I hope everyone has a blessed weekend! Get out there and do something active...whether it be running, walking, riding a bike, etc. It's spring time and it's beautiful out there! Enjoy it!
QOTD: Any weekend plans?
