This week was crazy busy since it was the last week of school for me! The end of the school year is always a crazy busy time! Between mine and the boys' end of the year activities...it's been cray cray around here!
We DID get a few down time moments this week though. The weather was really nice the first part of the week. The humidity was low and so we enjoyed the afternoon on the back porch! Pretty soon it will be way too hot to sit out there!
As you know, I am a preschool teacher. I teach the 4 year old preschool class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday I am an assistant in the 2 year old class. We got a new 2 year old teacher this year....Mrs. Holly! I've so enjoyed working with her this year! She's become a great friend!
I also received tons of sweet end of the school year gifts from my students this week! They bless me so much! And I LOVE that they know me so well....Owls and Starbucks...2 of my favorite things!!!
Sawyer also has his end of the year gymnastics extravaganza this week! He performed on Wednesday and has another performance tonight. He did so great on Wednesday and I know he will rock it again tonight! He LOVES the extravaganza because he says he's performing for the parents who are going to love him...and not judges who are judging him. Competition season was tough this past year for our boys team. And now we are losing their coach too. Hopefully the gym will find a new boys team coach soon. We said our goodbyes to Coach Hannah after the extravaganza on Wednesday. We will miss her!
This week the boys and I also went on a walk together. Andy had to work late that night or he would have gone with us. We had quite the adventure because we almost got rained on! I just love all the conversations we have on our walks! These boys are my heart!!!
Yesterday was me and Andy's 15th wedding anniversary!!!! I can't believe it's already been 15 years! I love this man so much!!!! We took a quick selfie that morning before my run!
And we enjoyed looking through our wedding album later that night! We were so young!!!!
We have plans to celebrate with a kid free dinner tonight! And hopefully once the craziness of the end of the school year dies down we can celebrate even more. We really want a weekend away to celebrate our 15 years. Hopefully that can happen soon!
Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I had a great week of runs! It went from cool and low humidity to hot and super humid weather this week! But I kept on running of course!!!
- Friday- #plankaday 2:10, 2.35 mile run in 18:34 average pace 7:55
- Saturday- 7.30 mile run in 1:00:00 average pace 8:12

- Thursday- #plankaday 2:10, 2.31 mile run in 18:26 average pace 8:00
It was a great week of runs! I know the heat and humidity is going to affect my pace soon though.
And y'all!!! On Sunday I will be celebrating TWO YEARS of my run streak!!!!! It's also my nephew's first birthday so it will be fun celebrating with him! There's guaranteed to be cake involved!!! ;-)
Tomorrow I plan on running at least 6 miles. That's going to be my plan all summer long until I start training for my next race.
I hope you all have a great weekend!!!
