The Weekly Chase #174!

Hey y'all!! It's another Monday! But I'm ok with it because this is my LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL!!! Summer vacation starts Friday afternoon y'all!!! :-)

We had another great weekend! Sawyer and I were on our own this weekend because Hayden and Andy were camping with the Boy Scouts. I was a little jealous of their camping this weekend though because they were camping out at the beach!!!

Friday afternoon Sawyer had gymnastics practice. He received some sad news though. His gymnastics coach would no longer be coaching his team. She already works another job and is newly married and I think the hours and travel were just too much.

So as of right now...they haven't found a coach to coach the boys team. So Sawyer may not get to compete next year if they don't find a coach. It's tough because his gym is the only gym in our area that has a competitive gymnastics team for boys. So we will just have to play the waiting game and hope we can find a coach soon. So if anyone knows of a boys gymnastics coach that would love to live in lower Alabama....send him or her my way!!! ;-)

In other gymnastics news....Sawyer's gym is getting a new gym that should open sometime this summer! Because we knew the boys would be sad over learning that about their coach some of the boys' moms decided to take them to the new gym after practice to look around. They needed something positive to look forward to! Sawyer is super excited about the new gym and how big it's going to be!!!

After looking at the new gym, Sawyer and I went and picked up some pizza and headed home. We watched the animated (old movie not the new one) The Jungle Book! Sawyer saw it when he was younger but didn't remember it. He LOVED it and actually watched it again yesterday!!! I was hoping he would want to go see the new movie but he said the previews looked scary and I couldn't talk him into it. Has anyone seen it? 

Saturday morning I ran 7.3 miles! The weather was beautiful and not as humid. I had another great run and I'll tell you more about it on Wednesday!

I enjoyed my coffee after my run on the back porch in my new Starbucks Washington mug!

And Cullen enjoyed stalking a lizard at the window ALL WEEKEND LONG lol!

Later that morning Sawyer and I did some shopping. I bought a pair of shorts and some tank tops for the summer. Then we went to Newk's for some lunch! It was yummy!

My wonderful hubby also sent me several pictures of Hayden camping! They were camping at Fort Pickens so they got to enjoy the beach AND the fort!

Hayden also got to try kayaking for the first time! Andy said he LOVED it!!!

Later that afternoon Sawyer and I headed to Starbucks for Frappuccino Happy Hour! I got my regular Coffee Frappuccino Light and he got a creme based Smores Frappuccino!

Then we went to Petco to look at the animals. This is one of Sawyer's favorite things to do! Look how huge this fish was!!!

We then picked up some dinner and went home and watched the movie The Good Dinosaur! That movie is super cute but made both of us cry happy tears!

Sunday morning I ran a recovery run 5K! And then we waited for Hayden and Andy to come home! We had missed them so much this weekend!!!

Here are last week's goals!
  • Goal #1: Run every day! Yes! Streak is going strong! I'm almost at TWO years y'all!!! 
  • Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. Yep!
  • Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories. Yes!
  • Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week. Yes!
  • Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles. Yes!
  • Goal #6: Eat less calories each day. Yes!
  • Goal #7: Take at least one walk after dinner with my hubby. Nope. I took a walk but it wasn't with Andy. He's been so busy at work and last week with preschool graduation it just didn't happen. 
  • Goal #8: Order next school year's school supply packs. Yes!

Here are the goals I'm chasing this week!

Every week goals:

Goal #1: Run every day! 
Goal #2: Roll, stretch, and ice daily. 
Goal #3: Maintain my weight by logging my calories.
Goal #4: Move 11,000 steps or more each day this week.
Goal #5: Run at least 1 run under 2 miles.
Goal #6: Eat less calories each day.

Goal #7: Take at least one walk this week. I'm changing this goal a bit. I'm hoping to get in at least one walk for cross training this week. I'm hoping the whole family can come with me.

Goal #8: Pack up my classroom for the summer. This week I need to take everything off the walls of my classroom and pack everything away for the summer. I try to keep as much as I can locked up in my cabinet at school. I'm hoping I won't have to bring anything home. 

So that's the plan for me this last week of work and school! The boys still have this week AND next week before they are out for the summer. I'm looking forward to summer vacation with my precious boys!!!
