Fitness Friday...Marathon Recovery!

This week I didn't do much fitness wise due to recovering from the marathon on Sunday. Not to mention that my life has been super busy and crazy since I came back from Disney on Monday night! I had to sub on Tuesday and Thursday and have barely had time to unpack much less unwind! The plan is to take off at least one week from running to give my body a chance to recover. So running will resume next week...especially since I am training a group of awesome ladies for the Seaside Half Marathon in March! Gotta get back to it!

Here are the slim to none workouts I did this week:

  • Saturday- walked a few miles at the Expo and at Downtown Disney...that counts right?!
  • Sunday- I ran 26.2 miles in the happiest place on earth!!!!
  • Monday- I sat in a car all day traveling back home.
  • Tuesday- #plankaday 1:00
  • Wednesday- #plankaday 1:06
  • Thursday- #plankaday
  • Friday- #plankaday 1:00

I know that isn't much activity this week but I also know the importance of letting your body recover from a marathon. So that's been my focus this week.
