Tonight I have a 5K race! I'm running the Trick or Trot 5K! The whole family is going with me since they will have lots of fun fall activities for the boys. This will be the first 5K race I have done in a really long time! Hopefully it will be lots of fun!
Then Saturday morning I'm running the Turkey Trot 5K! I know what you're thinking...two 5K races in one weekend? Craziness! This race the whole family is going to also because we do it every year with the Cub Scouts. Only the hubby and my boys are doing the fun run instead of the 5K. Andria is also running this race so we will get to run together! Yay! One of our Sole2Soul Sisters, Susanne, designed a turkey shirt for us to wear at this race too. It's not the traditional turkey colors but it's still pretty cute! And of course we have cute socks to match! ;-)
Now it's time for Fitness Friday! I kept right on streaking this week even though my legs were really really sore from last Sunday's sub 2 half marathon! But I took it easier this week. I'm also not going to run a long run this week to give my legs a little more recovery time. Then next week it's back to training...this time for the St. Jude Memphis Half!

- Sunday- Gulf Coast Half Marathon in 1:57:24 average pace 8:58

- Tuesday- #plankaday 1:15, 3.11 mile run in 26:24 average pace 8:29
- Wednesday- #plankaday 1:05, 1.50 mile run in 12:46 average pace 8:31
- Thursday- #plankaday 1:30, 1.51 mile run in 12:30 average pace 8:18
All of my runs went great this week. My legs were really sore though. They weren't too bad on Monday but towards the end of the day they got worse. And Tuesday I was pretty sore too! Running so fast at that race made me sore but it was sooo worth it! ;-)
My eating was good this week. I indulged some after my race on Sunday but I earned those calories so I didn't feel guilty about it! I've stayed within my maintaining number of calories all week and the scale has stayed the same. That's a win in my book!

I'm pretty excited about my two races this weekend! It should be fun! Saturday is my sister's birthday and I get to babysit my niece Ella while she goes out and celebrates! I can't wait!!! I hope you all have a great weekend!!!
