I'm still working on my recap of the Disney Princess Half Marathon...so today I'm going to tell you all about what we did AFTER the race! I promise you'll get the recap soon! ;-)
After the race I headed back to the resort to shower and to wait on my roomies to come in from the race. Once we all got showered and retold our race experience to each other we headed to Epcot to celebrate our race! The work was done and now it was time to play!!! :-)
But first....medal pics! Yes...I was so proud of all my hard earned bling!
The first stop...Starbucks! We were all craving coffee! And who else is as excited as me that they have Starbucks in the Disney parks now??!! I will admit that I got a grande size of my Caramel Frappucino Light! ;-)
Then we headed to ride Test Track! The wait was long so we decided to use the single rider option. We waited about 5 minutes! I LOVE the single rider option when I'm not with my family!
Then we headed to Living with the Land and our fast pass for Soarin'! Then it was time to head to World Showcase! We were hungry but we had early dinner reservations so we decided to get a few snacks to share. We got this mac and cheese thing that was divine! I wish I could remember what country we were in! And we also shared a Mickey pretzel! And then I had my favorite...a Mickey Bar! Yum!
We also went to Mexico and rode the ride inside. And Sandi had one of their margaritas!
While we were sitting inside one of the photographers came in and was testing his camera. He took a few shots of us sitting there too!
In China we stopped and watched these performers. They were amazing!
We did a little shopping in one of the countries...and came upon this friendly troll! ;-)
And who could resist a photo in front of this lovely waterfall? Not us!
We enjoyed a gorgeous sunset over the World Showcase as we walked to Italy for dinner!
We ate at one of my favorite restaurants...Tutto Italia Ristorante! I got my favorite dish there...Ravioli di Ricotta! It was amazing as always!
After walking around World Showcase a little more, we headed towards Spaceship Earth.
Sandi and Brooke were going back to the resort but Susanne and I stayed to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. It had been a few years since I had seen it and it was just as amazing as I remembered!
It was a great ending to a wonderful day of running and celebrating!
QOTD: What is your favorite thing about Epcot?
