Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Day 4...Magic Kingdom and Be Our Guest Restaurant!

In case you missed them be sure to read my recaps of the Princess Enchanted 10K and the Princess Half Marathon!

It was sooo nice not having to wake up at 3AM on Monday morning! We all slept so good that night! Brooke joined me for a quick run around the resort! I had to keep up my streak! And Port Orleans Riverside has an amazing running trail so running was easy there!

After my run I got showered and then we headed to the dining hall for some breakfast. Mickey waffles were on my menu again! ;-) Then...we headed to Magic Kingdom!

The first stop...bling pictures in front of the castle!

We had fast passes for Thunder Mountain so we headed to Frontierland next. After the ride we walked over to Adventureland because I NEEDED a Dole Whip! Yummy! It was hot this day and it melted faster than I could eat it lol!

We rode all the rides we could possibly ride. It was pretty crowded in Magic Kingdom for a day in February. Some of the popular rides had pretty long lines. We waited in some but others we didn't. We knew the lines would die down later that night and we had plans to stay late. So we did a lot of walking around and finding the rides that had shorter lines.

Of course you can never have too many pictures with the castle and Mickey and Minnie behind you!

One of my favorite rides, although it's short and kid friendly, is The Barnstormer. We waited in line about 15-20 minutes for this one. The ride was great but just when we were about to get off the ride something happened and we got stuck! We sat there for about 15 minutes while they fixed the ride. Our sore half marathon legs didn't mind too much though! ;-)

The advantage to getting stuck on a ride...a free Fast Pass!!!

We used it on Peter Pan's Flight which always has an outrageous line! Whoop whoop! :-)

We ate lunch in Tomorrowland and then it was time to head to Fantasyland because we had Fast Passes to see Anna and Elsa! Oh yes! I was so excited! And they were awesome! Especially Anna! She asked all about our race. And she talked about Sven and the things he would eat after the race. Hilarious!

After hanging with Anna and Elsa it was back to more rides! We were disappointed to find that The Little Mermaid ride (yes the new one) was closed for refurbishment. And Pirates of the Caribbean was closed for cleaning. I told the cast member he needed to open the ride just for us but he said we'd have to walk through since there wasn't any water in there at the moment! Bummer! But we did get to ride another favorite...Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin!

Before we knew it it was time for our dinner reservations at Be Our Guest! I was super excited to eat in the Beast's castle!

It didn't take long and we were seated in The Rose Gallery dining room. It was so pretty! There were portraits of many characters from Beauty and the Beast.

In the center of the room is a huge music box made my Belle's father for Belle and the Beast when they were married. It spins around and plays music from the soundtrack. So awesome!

At our table the napkins were folded into a rose.

The theme of the restaurant seemed to be the Enchanted Rose as it was on everything including the menu.

Everything looked delicious on the menu but after a recommendation from our server I ordered the Thyme-Scented Pork Chop with Au Gratin Macaroni and Seasonal Vegetables. Can I say divine???!!! It was sooo yummy! My pork chop was HUGE though and I couldn't finish even half of it!

While we were eating we heard some cheering and an announcement about our host. Then..the Beast walked into our dining room and gave a bow! So awesome! He did that one other time when we were there so he must do it on a schedule. I couldn't get a good picture though because he walked fast!

After our main course it was time for dessert! Everything on the menu looked amazing! But we all knew what we wanted before we even saw the menu!

They present and serve the dessert tableside. So you could see the desserts and it made you want every one of them lol!

We wanted the "Grey Stuff!" If you remember in the movie when Lumiere is singing the song, "Be Our Guest" he says to "try the grey stuff, it's delicious, don't believe me ask the dishes!" So yes we had the grey stuff! And it was very delicious!!! Just so you know what it is...it was a oreo cookie like crust that was topped with the grey stuff which looked like frosting but was more of a whipped topping. It's hard to describe really but it was a very light and fluffy dessert! So good!

After our wonderful dining experience, we walked around the restaurant a bit. Here are pictures from the Be Our Guest Restaurant Ballroom. It was so pretty! And you can see snow falling when you looked out the windows!

There is also the West Wing Dining Room. If you remember in the movie, this is the wing Belle was forbidden to go in. The fireplace showed a picture of the prince that would every so often transform into the beast.

And of course the Enchanted Rose was here as well...and drops its petals throughout the night!

At the entrance of the castle was a mosaic picture of Belle and the Beast transformed back to his prince self! So pretty!

After eating you can also visit the Beast in his study! The line wasn't long and you know how much I love my character meet and greets so I was pretty excited!

Overall it was an incredible dining experience! Well worth it to just step inside the castle! And the food was amazing!

After eating it was time for our Fast Passes to ride the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! I was excited about this ride! It was a very smooth ride but I wish it had been a little longer. I know my boys will love it when we go in June!

Then we took those last pictures with the castle.

Sandi decided to leave and go back to the resort. Brooke and I stayed so we could ride more rides. We headed to Tomorrowland and rode Astro Orbiter and Space Mountain!

We then went shopping down Main Street and even caught glimpses of the electrical parade going by. It was a great end to a very magical runDisney weekend! I was sad to see it end!

The next morning we were leaving Disney. I got up for my quick run around the resort. And while running I ran into Christine and Pam! I had yet to meet Pam and so I was so excited to run into them!!! I even ran a little while with them which was great!

Then it was time to shower and get all packed up. We ate one more Mickey waffle breakfast and then it was time to go. But of course I needed a picture in my "I Did It" shirt!

What an amazing weekend it was! I will cherish the memories and can't wait until next year's Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend!
