Fitness Friday...July 4th Edition!

First things first...HAPPY JULY 4TH!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful time celebrating the freedom of our country with your family and friends today! God Bless the USA!

We've had a busy week! I had another continuing education class for work this week...but now I have almost all my hours done for the next school year! Yay! I got my closet cleaned out this week too! I got rid of so many clothes that were either too big or out of style! My closet is so clean now and feels like a brand new space! I'm loving it!

I got rid of a ton of clothes!

We also got to go swimming this week with some friends! The boys had so much fun! And I enjoyed some girl time!

It's time for Fitness Friday! I'm still having a blast streaking and have decided to continue streaking! I'm not sure how long I will streak...I'll just stop when I feel like my body needs rest I guess! So here's how my runs went this week!

  • Friday- #plankaday 1:30, 1.51 mile run in 13:06 average pace 8:41

  • Saturday- 6.2 mile run in 1:05 average pace 10:35
  • Sunday- 1.51 mile run in 13:44 average pace 9:08
  • Monday- #plankaday 1:05, 3.51 mile run in 34:17 average pace 9:47

  • Tuesday- #plankaday 1:10, 1.51 mile run in 13:11 average pace 8:45

  • Wednesday- #plankaday 1:07, 3.11 mile run in 28:09 average pace 9:03

  • Thursday- #plankaday 1:11, 1.51 mile run in 13:08 average pace 8:42

Weight loss this week: 1.1 lbs.
Weight loss total: 22.1 lbs.

Running was awesome this week! Despite the heat and humidity, I am loving getting out there everyday to run! Usually by this time of the streak I am ready to be finished but not this summer! I want to keep going! I got to run with a friend this week too so that was fun!

I'm running my long run today! I'm running a July 4th 10K (not a race, just a run) with some friends! It should be fun and a great way to start the holiday! 

The weight loss was right on this week (my goal is one pound a week). I tried to drink more water this week and I think it helped! On that note...I am hosting a DietBet starting July 21st! We are playing in a 4-week challenge to lose 4% of your starting weight. The bet is $25 and everyone who wins splits the pot. I would LOVE for you to join me!
